Love You More

Angela Riggs

“Love You More is a fiber art exhibit inspired by—and created from—the clothes that my grandmother knitted for me when I was a child. The exhibit title comes from a phrase that my grandmother, Mommy Ferne, always said to us: I love you more. Not more than you loved her, or more than someone else loved you, but just—more. More than she ever thought possible, more and more each day.

Mommy Ferne passed in 2023, and I’ve created the art for this exhibit in her honor and in her memory. “
