We invite you to explore the power of compact creativity and the impact of small-scale art. Submitted work should reflect the artist’s ability to convey big ideas in limited dimensions—emotions, stories, and artistic visions condensed into intimate formats. What can be expressed within the constraints of size? How does working small change your artistic approach or message?

Gallery 114, located in the Portland’s Pearl District, is one of the oldest artist collectives on the West Coast. We have always been a local, independent, worker’s co-op, and have constantly evolved, innovated and continued to bring the fantastic work of Portland artists to the people for the last 35 years.
